Granny? Grandma? GlamMa?

Who are you calling Grandma?
Gwyneth Paltrow’s mother (Blythe Danner) is called “Lalo” by little Apple (she tried to be called “Woof”—unclear why— anything but Grandma I suppose). Goldie Hawn’s grandchild (and evidently she invented this herself) calls her GlamMa! How perfect is that?

My Grandma on my Dad’s side was called Mamgu and my Grandad Tadcu. Fantastic names. (They’re Welsh of course as you knew only too well.)
When my nephew was little he called my mother “Danny” which would have been fab. If it had stuck. Which it didn’t.

What did you call your Grandma/Grandpa?
If you are a Grandma or Grandpa what are you called?
If you’re Grandma and Grandpa to be, what will you be called?
And if you are—and even if you aren’t—then you DEFINITELY need this Guide for Grandparents: It’s a BIG hit with Grannies, Lalos, Woofs, Popsis, Bubbas, Glam-Mas, Mamgus, Tadcus and Dannys all over the land!
